For the past 24 years, David has built a life in the countryside. His journey was anything but easy, forcing him to confront personal struggles that eventually led him to therapy. Inspired by the raw, expressive power of artists like Alfred Wallis, Peter Lanyon, Francis Bacon, and Frank Auerbach, he rediscovered his voice. The primal creativity of Cave Art, the intuitive expression of Leonard Knight, and the abstract brilliance of Dan Miller also left deep, lasting impressions. Encouraged by his therapist, David started drawing, a practice that naturally evolved into painting.
