Millionair Winter 2025

You have reinvented yourself in numerous ways, from acting to producing, designing, and directing. How do you choose which creative path to pursue next? I’ve never been someone who makes strict plans; I prefer to let things unfold naturally. As a child, my ambition was to act, but that gradually shifted into a desire to tell larger, more intricate stories, which led me into production. Eventually, I realised that production could feel creatively restrictive, and that opened the door to directing. Everything seemed to develop naturally; opportunities arrived at the right moments when I was prepared for them. I started my own label during a time when I had young children. It wasn’t about reducing my workload but about creating a way to work from home and be in an environment that suited my family. Throughout it all, the common thread in my work has been creativity and storytelling. “Everything I do is about bringing ideas to life, whether through acting, directing, or design. I’ve always followed my heart and allowed creativity to lead the way. Beyond film sets and fashion studios, Frost’s world is rooted in family, friendship, wellbeing, and her passion for animals, especially Cherry, her adorable dachshund (@cherrythesausage), who often accompanies her on shoots. A devoted mother of four, she speaks openly about balance, healing, and the importance of nurturing joy. Her retreat in Gozo, Malta, Amchara, is one of the many ways she recharges and reconnects. “Creativity and self-care go hand in hand,” she reflects. “You have to protect the part of you that dreams.” As our Millionair magazine photoshoot winds down and the crew begins to pack away, one thing is certain: Sadie Frost continues to create, lead, and inspire. Whatever she turns to next will undoubtedly embody the intelligence, elegance, and fearless imagination that have always defined her.

Looking back at your career so far, is there a particular role or project that felt like a turning point for you?

A pivotal moment for me was moving behind the camera. I went back to study, completing a master’s degree at Staffordshire University in film production, with a focus on women in film. Returning to education later in life was bold, but utterly rewarding. Then came the opportunity to direct. To tell stories about women. To bring iconic British female narratives to life. Both the master’s and directing have transformed me, boosting my confidence, expanding my creative freedom, and deepening my knowledge. Knowledge is power, and for me, it has been liberating, proof that creativity and growth have no age limit.
