There’s something profoundly empowering about taking an idea and guiding it through every stage, from development to post-production, and ultimately to film festival premieres and beyond. In many ways, making a film is like raising a child: it requires patience, care, and years of dedication before you can finally share it with the world.
If you could step into any film or fashion moment from your career and relive it for a day, which would it be and why?
I would love to travel back to the 1980s when I was involved in the VIVIENNE WESTWOOD show. I was only 16, and they had no idea how culturally significant and incredible Vivienne was. It was a fantastic opportunity. I was just a schoolgirl, and being able to revisit that fashion moment would be extraordinary. I was one of the first models to wear the mini crini and the corset!
Animal welfare has played a significant role in your life. What part have pets or wildlife had in shaping your views on care and compassion?
I have always been a vegetarian and have never put an animal or a fish in my mouth. I find it disgusting how animals are treated, how mass factory farming has taken over, and the cruelty present in the world today; the suffering animals endure is heartbreaking. People need to be educated about what they eat and the suffering caused by the products they use. They should know that the clothes they wear to stay warm or for fashion often involve killing or harming animals. I have always supported PETA and many other animal rights charities. I am now getting involved in helping produce some documentaries on animal rights. To stay informed, I follow relevant pages on social media for news and updates.

If you could give your younger self just one piece of advice, what would it be?
It would be best not to listen to the haters.
