The term bouclé, French for “loop” or “curl”, refers to the sumptuous fabrication and the yarn it’s made from. Typically crafted from soft wool fibres, bouclé boasts an irresistibly soft, fleecy feel, and can also be made from cotton, linen or silk. The fabric is woven using at least two types of yarn - one is tightly twisted for strength, while the others are loosely combined, resulting in the looped and textured surface pattern. As multiple yarns are blended into the fabric, bouclé can be designed in a multicoloured finish, perfect for adding a playful touch to your accessory lineup.
