I tried the PRP (which thankfully bore no relation to some of the bleeding and sore faces that can be seen on a PRP google search!) It’s said to be one of the most effective way to increase collagen production, which drops rapidly with menopause, causing skin to lose its elasticity. Thanks to Anne’s skills it was quick, effective and left no marks or scarring. At most there was a little redness in some places but you could easily go straight back to the office - if we had offices to go in! (A full video of the procedure can be seen on my Instagram feed @cionajk) What is PRP? Platelet Rich Plasma - also called PRP - is a facial rejuvenation treatment that uses your own plasma to stimulate collagen production and cell migration, allowing for the elimination of fine lines, folds and wrinkles. PRP softens wrinkles and creates a skin texture and tone that is smoother, younger and better.
Step 1 - Blood is taken just like any other blood test.
Step 2 - Blood is spun in a centrifuge machine for 8 to 10 minutes allowing white cells, red cells and platelets to be separated.
PRP Eyes £300 Face £500 Face +neck + decollete £600 Hair £500
Step 3 - PRP is re-injected into the targeted area by micro- injections
The whole PRP treatment takes about 20 minutes
Why is PRP so good? It’s a quick, non-invasive, natural and long lasting treatment that will effectively rejuvenate your skin. It’s also excellent for encouraging hair growth when used in the scalp.
